Department of Ophthalmology, Shri B. M. Patil Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Vijayapura, conducted a CME on Advances in cataract surgery and a hands-on wet lab workshop on phacoemulsification on 22nd June 2024, Saturday in the Mini Auditorium, Trauma centre from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Each Scientific session was chaired & moderated by well-known ophthalmologists. 105 Delegates are registered from various Places of Karnataka and Maharashtra. 60 attended hands-on wet lab training on Phacoemulsification.

Inauguration ceremony was conducted at 11 AM and was graced by the Dr. Y.M. Jayaraj, Pro-Chancellor; Dr. R.S. Mudhol, Vice- Chancellor, Dr. Aravind Patil, Principal.
