Super Speciality Courses

Super specialty courses in medicine, such as Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and MagisterChirurgiae (MCh), can have a duration of two or three years, depending on the chosen specialization. As per the National Medical Commission (NMC), the duration for super specialties is three years after completing MD/MS.

These advanced programs cover various aspects, including theoretical knowledge, clinical and practical skills, surgical developments, communication skills, and research methodology. They aim to provide comprehensive expertise in specific medical fields.

To become a super specialty doctor, candidates must take the NEET SS exam after completing their postgraduate studies and obtaining specialty degrees. The eligibility criteria typically involve scoring at or above the 50th percentile in NEET-SS within their respective specialty, as outlined by the examination guidelines.
