The Department of Paediatrics, in collaboration with the Department of Geriatrics, successfully conducted an Integrated Teaching Programme on 29 May 2025 as part of its ongoing commitment to interdisciplinary medical education. The session brought together undergraduate and postgraduate students for an interactive academic discussion, fostering a comprehensive understanding of patient care across different age groups.
The programme featured engaging presentations, evidence-based discussions, and case-oriented learning, enabling participants to gain valuable insights into the diagnosis and management of age-specific health conditions. The collaborative teaching approach encouraged knowledge sharing between departments while strengthening students’ clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
The Integrated Teaching Programme reflects BLDE (Deemed to be University)’s dedication to competency-based medical education by promoting multidisciplinary learning, enhancing academic excellence, and preparing future healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.
