Overview

Ophthalmology, a specialized field within medicine and surgery, focuses on diagnosing and treating disorders affecting the eyes. An ophthalmologist, as an expert in this field, completes a medical degree followed by an additional four to five years of residency training in ophthalmology. Further specialization, known as fellowship training, can be pursued in specific areas of eye pathology. Ophthalmologists have the authority to prescribe medications, administer laser therapy, and conduct surgery as necessary for treating eye diseases.

“Thank you for choosing us. We look forward to serving you and the community as we continue to strive for excellence in ophthalmology.”
