Overview

The Department of Radiodiagnosis at BLDE (Deemed to be University) was established in 1987, laying the foundation for advanced diagnostic imaging services and academic excellence. Initially nurtured under the leadership of Dr. Ranade (Principal), Dr. C. R. Bidri (Dean), and the expert guidance of Dr. L. B. Sholapurkar (1988–1995), the department steadily grew in stature. From 1996 to 2001, it was successfully led by Dr. M. M. Patil, further strengthening its clinical and teaching capabilities.

Currently, the department is under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Satish D. Patil, who, along with a team of dedicated and skilled faculty and staff, continues to uphold the department’s legacy of academic integrity, compassionate care, and technological advancement.
