The department also plays a pivotal role in the implementation and continuous refinement of the Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum, striving for academic excellence and holistic medical training.
To be a centre of excellence in facilitating medical educators to be competent trainers, who are capable of training undergraduate and postgraduate students as competent physicians of first contact and competent specialists respectively.
