Department of Anaesthesiology Conducts Tubectomy Camp at Ukkali Rural Health Training Centre

The Department of Anaesthesiology, Shri B. M. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, BLDE (Deemed to be University), actively participated in a Tubectomy Camp organized at the Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC), Ukkali. The camp was conducted as part of the institution’s commitment to strengthening community healthcare services and supporting the National Family Welfare Programme.

A dedicated team of anaesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, postgraduate students, interns, and healthcare professionals collaborated to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the camp. Comprehensive pre-operative assessment, safe anaesthesia administration, intraoperative monitoring, and post-operative care were provided, ensuring quality healthcare services for all beneficiaries.

The camp served as an excellent platform for delivering accessible reproductive healthcare services to the rural community while also providing valuable clinical exposure and hands-on learning opportunities for postgraduate students.
